Louise Patrick MCSP. SPR

Louise qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1984 at Guys Hospital in London and was then delighted to be offered the role of junior/general physiotherapist for a year. Louise moved to Peterborough district hospital in 1985, again as a junior/general physiotherapist, and later as a Senior 1 and 2 physiotherapist, specialising in outpatients, sports injuries and musculoskeletal injuries, treating patients of all ages, occupations and sporting interests.

In 1990 she moved to Suffolk and for 11 years took the post of Senior 1 physiotherapist in the Occupational Health department at Ipswich Hospital, where I treated and trained staff of a wide variety of occupations and advised on ergonomics.

Framlingham Physiotherapy Practice was established in 1997 and enjoys a good relationship with local Consultants, GP’s and sports clubs.

Louise is immersed in the world of horses, both owning and treating horses with my passion leading to my qualifying as a member of the Society of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Physiotherapy in 2005.

Stuart Ayles MSCP

Stuart Ayles joined the physiotherapy team 4 years ago. He has worked in Professional Football for over 16 years as both a Physiotherapist and Exercise Physiologist. He has extensive skills in musculo-skeletal physiotherapy and exercise prescription, having worked in general practice as well as with elite athletes. Stuart also operates from his studio in Ipswich as a personal trainer, specialising in treatment, rehabilitation, health and fitness. He is a chartered Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, Nutritional Therapist and Health Advisor. Stuart also offers acupuncture.

Louisa Steed MSCP

Louisa qualified as a chartered physiotherapist in 2006. She gained a range of experience first working within a “Day and Treatment Team” including Neurological conditions, Orthopaedics and general rehabilitation. She then worked in a quick response community team alongside this she worked within a local Rugby team.

For the last 7 years she has been working as a senior physiotherapist specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and teaching private Pilates classes. She is a trained acupuncturist for the treatment of pain, women’s health problems (including fertility and menopause) and facial rejuvenation.

Lisa Kippen

Lisa Kippen has been a Chartered Physiotherapist for over ten years. She has a degree in Sport Science and Biology and a Masters in Physiotherapy, undertaken at UEA in 2008. Since then she has worked in a range of settings, treating musculoskeletal injuries, pre and post-operative orthopaedic surgery and long standing chronic pain conditions, as well as helping people deal with the general aches and pains associated with hectic lifestyles. Lisa also works with neurological conditions, restoring normal movement patterns, using the Bobath technique, such as  Stroke and Parkinson’s Disease. She is a qualified Kinesio Tape Practitioner and is currently undergoing training in acupuncture. 

She has recently launched a mobility class for the over 50s, held at Debenham Leisure Centre.

For those who find getting out more difficult, Lisa is available for home visits working with you to improve your mobility and movement.

She is a Chartered Physiotherapist and is also registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

Fiona Mealing – Nutritional Therapy, Food Intolerance Testing, Phlebotomy

Fiona Mealing Dip.ION qualified from the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in July 1999 having completed 3 years training and is a full member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapists, The Nutritional Therapy Council and The Complementary and Healthcare Council.

Fiona regularly attends independent post-graduate courses recommended by the British Association and also independently carries out research for both clients and courses she is running independently.

Fiona qualified in January 2016 as a Phlebotomist with Surrey Pathology Services and further training at Ipswich Hospital and offers a Phlebotomy service.

Charges range from £30.00 to £60.00 for a blood draw depending on the complexity of the test and whether the sample needs centrifuging.

Rachel Welsh – Homeopathy & Kinesology

Rachel is a kinesiology practitioner using the NAET protocol for allergy testing and elimination.

This therapy not only identifies allergens that are putting your body under strain but also helps you to rebalance so you can cope better with the symptoms you are experiencing. The therapy uses a combination of kinesiology and acupressure and is a gentle yet effective therapy suitable for young and old alike.

Zoe Hyde – Podiatry

Zoe provides a full range of Podiatry/Chiropody treatments to diagnose and treat your foot problems, some of which include: nails care; removal of hard skin/callus; corns; verruca.  Zoe will assess the general condition of your feet, circulation, sensation and can provide a diabetic assessment.  Foot care advice will also be given to help you maintain your feet for a variety of foot health problems.

Zoe is able to provide Biomechanical assessments and provide advice and further treatment such as insoles and orthoses depending on the condition. Zoe is able to work closely with the physiotherapy team to provide the best possible care for you.

Tamara Scully – Clinical Psychologist

Tamara is an experienced Chartered Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of clinical experience in the NHS. Tamara is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a Chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS). Tamara specialises in working with children, young people and their families. She provides psychological assessment, consultation, formulation and treatment.  Tamara has worked in a variety of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Teams (CAMHS) over the course of her career.  She moved to Suffolk in 2013 and has been working in a local CAMHS team for the past five years.

Tamara is committed to working with individuals and families in a professional, non-judgmental and honest manner. She does this by using evidence based psychological approaches and building on individual resilience and family strengths.
